Ex-METAL CHURCH Singer Interviewed On 'Maximum Threshold'
October 12, 2009Former METAL CHURCH singer Ronny Munroe was interviewed on this past Saturday's (October 10) edition of the "Maximum Threshold" show. The program is now available for streaming using the audio player below.
"Maximum Threshold" is an Internet radio show dedicated to presenting up-and-coming hard rock bands and successful bands as well as interviews, news and music reviews.
Munroe will film a video for the song "Delirium" on October 17 at Fitzgerald's in Houston, Texas during his solo band's Texas Meltdown Tour with HELSTAR.
"Delirium" comes off Munroe's solo debut, "The Fire Within", which was released in April via Rat Pak Records.
Ronny Munroe's solo band includes METAL CHURCH's Rick Van Zandt on guitar.
METAL CHURCH guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof had encouraged Munroe for some time to do a solo project. With METAL CHURCH's plans to tour in support of their new album on hold, this offered an opportunity for Munroe to do so.
Munroe had 15 original songs to choose from for the CD, which was co-produced by the singer and Vanderhoof.
Ronny said these songs show a wider vocal range, bigger choruses and different melodies compared to his work in METAL CHURCH.

Oct. 16 - Ayers Event Center - Corpus Christi, TX
Oct. 17 - Fitzgerald's - Houston, TX
